Security Fencing

In today’s modern environment security fencing is often paramount. The Fencing Partnership Ltd has the ability to install security fencing to either BS1722 part 10 or BS1722 part 12, or (as is often the case) to customers own specifications.

  • Steel Palisade fencing offers a robust, cost effective, low maintenance security solution. This can be manufactured to BS1722 part 12 or client’s specification. Alternative steel palisade fence systems are available from some of our supply chain members offering a more modern take on this type of fencing.
  • Weldmesh panel fencing systems offer an alternative solution to our clients security needs. These systems offer a range of meshes including twin wire systems to suit many applications.
  • Expanded mesh panel systems (also known as expamet) offer further alternative security fence solution. Meshes are available in 2089, 4095 and 7732 formats, or other manufacturers specification.
  • Chain link or weldmesh roll type security fencing is installed generally to BS 1722 part 10 although we often also install to clients own specifications.
  • Mesh security fences have a security topping be it barbed wire, razor wire, razor wire concertina or anti scaling barrier (or any suitable combination).

At the base of many fences the bottom of the fence may be buried to prevent individuals burrowing under the fence or have a continuous concrete sill to which the fence can either abut, be fixed to or be buried in. The Fencing Partnership Ltd has experience in all of these methods and in the case of the latter is often called on to carry out other minor civils works such as small retaining walls or concrete bases etc.

With all of these security solutions a range of gates are available. Gates can be supplied to match all of the aforementioned fence types or constructed to the clients own requirements. They can either be manually operated gates or power operated gates in either a swing gate format or sliding gate format. In the case of the latter The Fencing Partnership Ltd can either install tracked gates or cantilevered gates with a full range of access control systems to suit specific site requirements.
