The Fencing Partnership Ltd is very aware of its social responsibility both as an employer and as a provider of services.

As well as enabling us to offer an efficient and well managed service to our customers, our policy of employing directly employed installers results in them having secure employment, secure income and access to full training and employment rights.  The Directors of the company view this as a “win win” situation.  We have a stable, well trained work force, whilst delivering to our clients the best possible service.


The Fencing Partnership Ltd has an on going training programme.  As well as operatives holding CSCS/FISS and (where necessary) CPCS cards, we also have a large percentage of our operatives who are PTS, SHEgas and SCO trained.  A number of our installers are currently undergoing NVQ qualifications.

The Fencing Partnership Ltd is also a Lantra Training Provider and can therefore offer its staff the full range of training courses provided by that organisation.


The Fencing Partnership Ltd is BS ISO 9001 accredited.  Quality Assurance is a basic testament to our company.  Our target is zero defects.  Our quality procedures are well operated and internally audited by qualified lead auditors.  We have developed our quality control system to work for the company to enable it to assist us in delivering to our clients the best quality service with the lowest possible level of defects.


The environmental management system of The Fencing Partnership Ltd is compliant with and accredited to BS ISO 14001The Fencing Partnership Ltd takes its responsibility as a company towards the environment seriously.  The directors of the company regard environmental awareness on a par with health and safety, quality, social accountability and commercial awareness.

As with quality we have taken steps to ensure that our quality management systems enhances our project delivery.

Timber used by The Fencing Partnership Ltd is sourced from FSC suppliers with full chain of custody.  Records are kept either on an individual contract basis or on a customer basis, recording the volume of timber used, where it was sourced from and on which sites it was used.  On request these records can be forwarded to our customers to enable them to prove FSC sourcing of materials used.

The fencing industry can produce high levels of waste if badly managed and unmonitored.  We have mechanisms which ensure that waste is kept to a minimum and that where possible materials are recycled.

Health and Safety

The Fencing Partnership Ltd holds BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for its Occupational Health & Safety Management System and is also CHAS approved.

The safety of our employees and others affected by our operations is of prime importance.  Risk assessments are carried out for all projects and the necessary control measures put in place.

Method statements are produced for each contract giving our installers full details of the project, methodology for carrying out the works, emergency procedures, list of key personnel.

From project conception to final delivery we seek ways, often resulting in innovative solutions, of carrying out our works in a way that minimises risk to employees.

All of our operations managers have attended and successfully completed;
The CITB 5 day Site Management Safety Training Course (SMSTS).

All of our lead installers have completed the CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Course (SMSTS)

All other staff have complete a minimum of a one day course for health and safety awareness.
